"Although BT Total Broadband is not a standalone VoIP service it provides FREE evening and weekend calls as well as a high speed 8MB broadband connection. It is excellent value and enables you to have several computers accessing the internet wirelessly whilst making also making calls via the BT Home Hub."
With BT Total Broadband you get VoIP bundled together with your high speed (up to 8MB) broadband service. For VoIP calls all you need to do is plug a regular phone directly into your BT home hub and you can make FREE Evening and Weekend Broadband Talk calls to local and national numbers.

The package price for Option 1 is £7.95 for the first 3 months and then the regular rate of £15.99. This is inclusive of your evening and weekend calls but has a 10GB download limit. That should be more than enough for most light users but those who have a need for more downloads (e.g. heavy downloaders of music, movies etc) may want to select the Option 3 package.
As previously stated the BT Home Hub is FREE with all BT Total Broadband packages. This is excellent value as it is a wireless router which enables the user to access the internet from anywhere in the house (if they have a wireless card in their computer) which means you don't need wires all round the house to enable use on more than one computer. You can even use your laptop on the internet in the garden if you so wish (weather permitting!!). You can also sign up to BT Vision which is a digital TV service which includes a digital TV recorder.
